Invited by the African Union, our chief executive officer, Trésor Chovu attended the African Mining Indaba as a speaker to discuss the role of the private sector in financing junior African mining countries.
Our CEO, Trésor Chovu was invited by Dr Khalid Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister of Mines of Saudi Arabia as a VIP guest to attend the Future Minerals Forum 2023 edition. Our company looked at the possibility to invest in the Saudi mining sector.
On the 24 November 2022, Chovu International Holdings Ltd organised a gathering of mining funds, companies, investors and stakeholders to join forces for the enhancement of mining investments in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This marked the first event of series focused on the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Lord Popat, the UK Prime Minister Trade Envoy to the DRC was one of the attendees. Others included senior representatives of Bacchus Capital, Lion's Head Global Partners, Terea Africa (from Mauritius), Skadden LLP, Uhusiano Capital as well as the Swiss Embassy in London and the UK Department of International Trade and more.
Our CEO, Trésor Chovu attended the Africa Mining Summit as a panelist. He touched on the role of the private sector in financing the continent mining sector. The summit took place at the African Union's headquarter in Addis Ababa under the supervision of the African Minerals Development Centre (AMDC).
